1 woman is diagnosed with breast cancer every 4 minutes in India

Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women. Although breast cancer is curable if diagnosed early, India recorded 98,000 deaths due to breast cancer in 2022- the reason is lack of access to screening. Mammography equipment is present only in key cities, requires a radiologist, is costly, is a painful experience for most women, involves radiation and is not accurate for women under 40 with dense breasts.

iBreastExam is a pain-free and ultra-portable solution

iBreastExam is a hand-held, ultra- portable, pain-free, radiation free, breast cancer screening device that allows early screening of lumps in the breast with instant results. The device measures tissue elasticity non-invasively through the principle of dynamic co-planar capacitive sensors and is FDA approved. iBreastExam scan costs 1/10th the cost of a mammography and can be easily operated by a frontline healthcare worker.
