Anemia still remains an unsolved problem in India
Globally around 2 billion people suffer from anemia. In India. 2 out of every 3 women and young children in India are anemic. Though treating anemia is easy, detection of anemia is difficult owing to lack of easy-to-operate, accessible, affordable mass screening devices. Conventional methods are invasive, time-consuming, require skilled operators hence not easily accessible in remote regions.
EzeCheck- a portable, pain-free device to screen for Anemia
‘EzeCheck’ is a non-invasive, easy-to-operate, portable, and ultra-affordable device that can detect hemoglobin levels and assess presence of anaemia- without drawing a single drop of blood. The device can be easily operable by semi-skilled workers, gives instant reading of hemoglobin under a few seconds and costs as low as ~INR 10 per test!
